Green Rock Group are delighted to have received the flustix less plastic certification at the highest possible level of plastic free content, for our paper cups and lids. Being the first to achieve this new standard with our certificates FPPC001 and FPPC002.
Our products meet the strict requirements of the flustix certification program and are thus considered to be amongst the most sustainable solutions on the global market.
Working closely with our material partners Delipac, we provide proven accredited fully sustainable products.
Green Rock Group and Delipac commend flustix on their commitment to transparent & coherent certifications with the new “less Plastics” Certification, upholding the strictest of qualifications standards, anywhere - whereupon approved products must meet the minimum permissible threshold of >99.25% plastic free.
(The remainder allowable of 0.75% is to realistically address & compensate for inks & adhesives along with the statutory fibre binding components within the paper making process).
The flustix / Din Certco qualification and certification programme is a solid alliance partnership of key mainstream & respected European institutes.
(Concerning United Kingdom relevance: The flustix testing partner, ‘Control Union’ is fully approved by UK accreditation institute UKAS).
Moreover, our products have been additionally independently tested by world renowned academic testing laboratories at Queen Mary, University of London, who affirm that Delipac paperboard, the raw material of the Green Rock Paper cup, is able to behave and disintegrate harmlessly in the paper waste stream - able to be recycled alongside copier paper, cereal boxes and other regular paper products, (bags, greeting cards etc.), thereby remitting comfort, confidence & security to all of our customers.
Delipac paperboard is also certified proven as 100% disintegration, home compostable, removing the need for specialist industrial composting.
In addition, our products carry the Made in Britain logo, dispensing additional confidence that we manufacture our products for the UK market, here in the UK.
